The Indigenous Prosperity Foundation (IPF) is thrilled to welcome Sharon Redsky to its inaugural Board of Directors.
As the Principal of Redsky Fundraising and a Canadian Association of Gift Planners member, Sharon Redsky brings expertise in fundraising, proposal development, and partnership building to the IPF Board of Directors. Living in Winnipeg, Manitoba and belonging to the Shoal Lake #40 First Nation, Sharon’s journey is acclaimed, including the prestigious YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Community Champion Award in 2017. Her commitment to excellence is further underscored by her educational achievements, which include a Master's Certificate in Project Management and a Certificate in Indigenous Evaluation from the University of Winnipeg.
"I am honoured to embark on this journey with the Indigenous Prosperity Foundation," said Sharon. "Having witnessed the resilience and innovation of Indigenous entrepreneurs and their impact on their communities, I am deeply committed to supporting their success. The Indigenous Prosperity Foundation (IPF), a charitable organization established by the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association with the support of Indigenous Financial Institutions across Canada, is dedicated to creating a thriving and inclusive Indigenous economy rooted in Indigenous values. IPF aims to provide training, mentorship, digital access and funding for Indigenous women, youth, and underserved entrepreneurs while building capacity across the Indigenous entrepreneurship ecosystem.
