      Charting a Path to Indigenous Prosperity

      Bobbie Racette Appointed Inaugural Chair of IPF Board of Directors

      The Indigenous Prosperity Foundation is thrilled to announce Bobbie Racette's appointment as the inaugural Chair of its Board of Directors. In this pivotal role, Bobbie will use her visionary leadership and extensive experience to further the Foundation's mission of empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs and fostering economic prosperity.

      Bobbie is a distinguished figure in the world of Indigenous entrepreneurship and innovation. As the Founder and CEO of Virtual Gurus and VG OnDemand, she has earned a reputation as a trailblazer deeply committed to creating a more equitable future for all. As an Indigenous Cree-Métis and 2SLGBTQIA entrepreneur, Bobbie possesses a unique perspective on the challenges marginalized communities face in business, society and the workforce.

      "In my journey as an entrepreneur, I've seen firsthand the impact of systemic barriers on talented Indigenous entrepreneurs,” said Bobbie. “In my role as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Indigenous Prosperity Foundation, I aim to ignite positive change through ensuring underrepresented communities prosper in their professional paths."

      The Indigenous Prosperity Foundation, an independent charity created by the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association (NACCA), is dedicated to establishing a thriving and inclusive Indigenous economy grounded in Indigenous values. IPF’s mission is to ensure that every Indigenous person in Canada has the support and resources to fulfill their potential and uplift others. IPF aims to achieve this through training, mentorship, digital access and funding for underserved Indigenous communities.

      “As the Chair of the Board of Directors, I am dedicated to breaking down barriers by creating pathways to success,” said Bobbie. “Together, we're on a mission to provide Indigenous entrepreneurs across Canada with opportunities, tools, and resources for building thriving careers and companies,”
