Every Voice Has a Story

Kyler Wilson | Founder, Kyler Wilson VO

· Launchpad Founder Stories,Updates,Stories,Launchpad,Collaboration and Empowerment

Every voice has a story worth hearing.

For Kyler Wilson, voice-over is about more than reading words from a script. It is about helping people connect with a message, making information more accessible, and bringing stories to life in a way that feels meaningful. Through Kyler Wilson VO, he provides professional voice-over services for organizations, businesses, and creators. His work supports educational resources, promotional campaigns, digital media, and storytelling projects that need a clear, engaging, and authentic voice. Behind the business is a larger vision.

Kyler hopes to work with Indigenous organizations to help amplify their stories and perspectives. He wants to encourage other young entrepreneurs to pursue the ideas they are carrying. One day, he hopes to create a professional recording studio where Indigenous individuals and communities can produce high-quality audio and share their stories in their own voices. For Kyler, the dream has alwaysbeen about more than building a business. It is about helping stories reach the people who need to hear them.

Turning a Dream into Something Tangible

Kyler had the talent and the vision long before he had a business. What he did not always have was confidence in his ability tobuild the business around that talent. When he joined the Indigenous Prosperity Foundation's Launchpad program, Kyler was looking for guidance. He wanted to better understand how to market his services, make decisions about his business, and create a stronger foundation for future growth.

Launchpad's flexible, self-paced structure gave him the opportunity to learn while continuing to balance work and everyday responsibilities. More importantly, it gave him the confidence to begin turning
an idea into something tangible.

"Launchpad helped take something I wanted and allowed me to make it tangible. What I lacked a lot of was confidence in my business skills, and Launchpad has given me the ability to go from a dream to a reality."

As Kyler worked through the program, he applied what he was learning directly to Kyler Wilson VO. Each lesson became another building block, strengthening both the business and his confidence as an entrepreneur. Launchpad did not give Kyler his talent or his vision. Those were already his. What it
provided was the knowledge, mentorship, and encouragement to begin building
something real from them.

Growing His Business, One Connection at a Time

Since joining Launchpad, Kyler has continued to build on what he started. His mentor has supported him through advice, referrals, andintroductions that are helping him gain experience and grow the reach of Kyler Wilson VO. For a new entrepreneur, one connection can lead to a project, a new client, or another person discovering what the business has to offer.

Kyler is also continuing to learn through Indigitech, wherehe has connected with other Indigenous professionals and found new opportunities to collaborate. He has already begun working with people from the program on a project, giving him another chance to strengthen his portfolio and put his skills into practice.

It has been exciting to watch those opportunities begin to come together for him. Kyler is not rushing the process or trying to make the business look finished before it has had time to grow. He is being thoughtful about each step, including the development of his logo and visual identity. He is enjoying the creative process and taking the time to build a brand that feels like an honest reflection of who he is and where he wants Kyler Wilson VO to go. That care says a great deal about the kind of entrepreneur Kyler is becoming. He is listening, learning, building relationships, and allowing the business to take shape through real experience. With every referral, collaboration, and project, more people are getting the opportunity to hear what Kyler can do.

His progress is a reminder that growth does not always happen through one defining moment. Sometimes it happens through a series of opportunities, relationships, and decisions that slowly begin turning a dream into something real.

Building Confidence by Stepping Forward

One of the defining moments in Kyler’s journey came when he presented Kyler Wilson VO at IPF’s Indigenous Launchpad Showcase during the 2026 NACCA Indigenous Prosperity Forum. Standing on a national stage pushed him beyond his comfort zone. He shared the story behind his business, described the vision that inspired it and spoke confidently about where he hopes to take it next.

By the time he finished, something had changed. Instead of feeling relieved that it was over, he realized he wished he could do it again. That moment became a reminder of how much he had grown. Confidence had not arrived before the opportunity. It grew because he accepted the opportunity, prepared for it, and allowed himself to be seen.

When asked what advice he would give other aspiring entrepreneurs, Kyler's answer reflects the lessons he has learned through his own journey.

"You will never feel completely ready. At best, maybe 80 percent. There will never be a moment when you feel completely prepared or completely confident that you are making the right decision."

He encourages others not to wait for the perfect moment.

"You have to focus on what you want. If your dream is big enough, and you believe it needs to happen and needs to exist, just do it. Stop thinking about what could go wrong or whether you are the right person for it. Do it. Just go."

His words are a reminder that confidence often comes after taking the first step, not before it.

A Voice That Helps Others Be Heard
Today, Kyler is continuing to grow Kyler Wilson VO through new relationships, referrals, collaborations, and projects that allow him to strengthen his craft. He has a clear vision for what he hopes to build. Kyler
wants to work with more Indigenous organizations, help bring meaningful stories to life, and eventually create a professional recording space where Indigenous people and communities can produce high-quality audio and share their stories in their own voices.

It is an ambitious vision, but Kyler is already taking the steps that will help him move toward it. He is developing his brand with care. He is learning from his mentor and the people around him. He is saying yes to opportunities that once may have felt outside his comfort zone. Most importantly, he is beginning to recognize that his voice, his ideas, and his business deserve to take up space. Kyler's story is still being written, and with every new project, more people are getting the chance to hear his voice.
